FIRE FIGHTING FOAM  FLUORO-FREE NOW AVAILABLE

Fire-fighting foam is a long recognised and trusted medium for extinguishment of flammable and combustible liquids world-wide. It is the primary extinguishing agent for all potential fire hazards or areas where flammable liquids are transported, processed, stored or used as an energy source.

A stable aqueous foam is unlike other extinguishing agents (i.e water, dry chemical, CO2,etc.) as it has the ability to extinguish flammable of combustible liquid fire by the combining cooling, separating the ignition/flame source from the liquid surface, suppressing vapours and smothering mechanisms. Foam can also protect for extended periods against reignition and reflash.

BioEx Fire Fighting Foam

EcoPol F3 HC was the first fluorine-free 3% foam concentrate released for hydrocarbon fires that performs better than the best AFFFs. ECOPOL F3 HC was launched in 2015 as the first fluorine-free 3% foam concentrate with an exceptionally fast extinguishing action on hydrocarbon fires. 1A-certified extinguishing performance according to EN 1568-3 standard:
  • Can be used at 3% in direct application on hydrocarbon fires.
  • Certified by an independent recognized laboratory, ECOPOL F3 HC has obtained the best 1A performance classification under EN 1568-3 standard.

Williams T-STORM® C6 AR-AFFF 3%or6% WTS 303A

F-787B 3% or 6% AR-AFFF is a specially formulated, aqueous film forming free flowing viscous foam concentrate. It forms a vapor suppressing aqueous film on hydrocarbon type fuels or a polymeric membrane on polar solvent/water miscible type fuels. It is intended for use at a proportioning rate of 3% (3 parts AR-AFFF concentrate to 97 parts water) on hydrocarbon fuels such as gasoline, kerosene, diesel etc. F-787B 3% or 6% AR-AFFF is intended for use at a 6% proportioning rate (6 parts AR-AFFF concentrate to 94 parts water) on polar solvent/water soluble fuels such as alcohols, ketones, esters, etc. Contact us for more information.

Williams Fire Fighting Foam

PREMIUM on hydrocarbon fires can be compared to an AFFF foam concentrate (Aqueous Film Forming Foam) that contains fluorine.
The multi-purpose AR (Alcohol Resistant) foam concentrate works by generating a protective gel film on the surface of all types of flammable polar solvent liquids.ECOPOL PREMIUM provides exceptional resistance to burn back similar to fluoro protein foam concentrates.
  • On hydrocarbon fires: Certified 1A/1A - EN 1568-3
  • On polar solvent fires: Certified 1A/1A - EN 1568-4

Williams ThunderStorm® C6 W-813A concentrate is formulated using a new and proprietary technology. The foam concentrate has a dramatically reduced viscosity as compared to other 1% or 3% listed polar solvent type AFFF concentrates on the market. This reduced viscosity enhances performance in all types of foam proportioning equipment including in-line eductors, balanced pressure systems, and built-in systems aboard CFR vehicles. Additionally, the fire fighting performance of ThunderStorm® W-813A is superior to other AR-AFFF foam concentrates. This includes the blended gasoline additive Methyl Tertiary Butyl Ether (MTBE) which is being used as an oxygenate to make gasoline cleaner burning. ThunderStorm® W-813A concentrate offers many distinct advantages for ease of use and represents a continued commitment to quality by improving the fire performance of this type of agent on gasoline products while still maintaining high performance levels on other hydrocarbons and polar fuels. Williams ThunderStorm® ATC 3x3 Alcohol Resistant AFFF C6 Concentrate is formulated using a new and proprietary technology. The foam concentrate has a dramatically reduced viscosity as compared to other 3x3 listed polar solvent type AFFF concentrates on the market. This reduced viscosity enhances performance in all types of foam proportioning equipment including in-line eductors, balanced pressure systems, and built-in systems aboard CFR vehicles.

Additionally, the fire fighting performance of ThunderStorm® ATC is superior to other AR/AFFF foam concentrates. This includes the blended gasoline additive Methyl Tertiary Butyl Ether (MTBE) which is being used as an oxygenate to make gasoline cleaner burning. ThunderStorm® ATC 3x3 Concentrate offers many distinct advantages for ease of use and represents a continued commitment to quality by improving the fire performance of this type of agent on gasoline products while still maintaining high performance levels on other hydrocarbons and polar fuels. Dry Chemical Powder

Williams’ “PKW™” is a highly specialized siliconized Purple-K that is one of the most effective dry chemicals used to extinguish flammable and/or combustible pressurized liquid fires.  When used in conjunction with Hydro-Chem™ Technology it effectively controls and extinguishes pressurized or three dimensional “Class B” liquid fires.  Its distinctively deep purple color provides the fire fighter with the ability to stay ON-TARGET when projected to the fire within the foam and/or water stream.  The result, when combined with Hydro-Chem™ Technology is the ability to achieve a quicker and more efficient “knockdown,” and extinguishment.

Williams” “PKW™” is a potassium bicarbonate based dry chemical containing colorized additives.  The agent is free-flowing, water repellent and non abrasive and, when used as a fire extinguishing agent, will produce no toxic effects.  “PKW™” dry chemical is available in 50 pound plastic pails.
