Tiller Bar Monitor

Rugged, corrosion resistant brass construction; unique configuration flows up to 1250 gpm; compact - just 16” high; 3” NPT female, 3” or 4” 150# ANSI flange; vertical movement 90 degrees above horizontal to 45 degrees below; full, continuous 360 degree rotation; rugged, stainless steel lock hardware; brass balls in all swivel joints; grease fittings for easy lubrication; durable acrylic urethane finish

Oscillating Monitor

Delivering flows between 750 – 1500 GPM, the Model 5 Water Powered Oscillating Monitor is designed to automatically discharge water or foam over a specific design area upon system activation.   A water drive wheel connected to a double reduction gearbox drives the oscillating mechanism.  The monitor and body of the oscillating unit are manufactured of brass.  The water drive wheel is bronze with bronze supply gate valve.  To operate the drive wheel, a small quantity of flow is diverted from the monitor inlet.  The monitor requires no external wiring or hydraulic control for operation.  The drive wheel design is unique in that it does not require an inlet filter.  This makes the oscillating mechanism highly reliable and less likely to fail.

Vertical angle of elevation and horizontal arc of oscillation is field adjustable and can be set and locked in position.  The monitor can be set to oscillate over a range of 0° - 120° at an adjustable oscillation speed from 0° - 30°/second (0° - 24°/second @ 100 psi).  The arc of oscillation can be set anywhere within the 360° field of operation.  The nozzle elevation range of the unit is between +80° and -40°.

Fixed Monitors

Flows Up To 2,000 GPM on a 5’ x 5’ Footprint. Water resources on any industrial fire related emergency are critical to the success of the response.

Sustained water supply is just as critical. Any set of circumstances may impede a facility’s ability to make water, or to supply water to the area needing it the most. Catastrophic failure of underground or above ground water supply lines under the sudden impact of a blast or the stress of a heat load, outdated water mains that may be unable to supply the amount of water necessary for the job, capital projects that interrupt water supply during construction, weather related events such as temperatures ...the list goes on
